Now these things are special ordered and we pretty much never have any of them on the shelf ready to sell. They take some time to build and paint. Once ordered there is no going back. You’re getting a custom shell for your truck. These shells are designed to fit your trucks specific year, make, model, and bed size exactly. Almost all brands of trucks beds are different by 1”, Length or width. This pretty much means only a Camper Shell made for your year, or years like yours, and your exact bed length will fit.

Even in some cases the cab size matters. Some trucks have more straight up and down rear cab windows on the Ext Cabs compared to the Crew Cab trucks. So just because you have a 6,5' foot bed. Doesn't mean your cab won't be in the way. Talking to some GM and Ram owners, be careful!

Knowing your bed size.

We’re trying to make it easier for you.

Don't measure the Tailgate.

Bed floor length only,

Small trucks or Compact Trucks

Will have a 5' or 6' option bed, they may be an inch shorter or longer. But this is close enough when we know the year, make, and model. Some older Rangers and S-10’s had 7’ beds and they don’t make caps for those anymore, sorry. Don't measure the Tailgate.

5' if under 65”

6' bed if over 65”

Full Size Trucks

Most of the CrewCab trucks we see have the 5.5' option. Some are a little longer but all fall in the 5.5' size. The 6.5' are the same way, some a little shorter or longer. Most 8’ beds are 8.1’ or 8.2” as well. But again, this close enough when we know the year make and model. Don't measure the Tailgate.

5.5' Beds, under 71”

6.5' Beds,  between 72”-84”

8' Beds, over 94”

Cabs

Which cab style do you have? Well the “AutoMakers” have made this difficult by having marketable cab options like; SuperCab, Quad Cab, Double Cab, Access Cab, Club Cab, King Cab, SuperCrew, CrewMax, and Mega Cab. I think I got them all!

To make it simple we are going to have four categories(lol), and your truck will fall under one of these depending on your cab size.

Regular Cabs- Called regular or standard cabs

These trucks have one door on each side.

I’m not  trying to be a smart a$$, just wanted to fill the space.

You know a Regular Cab truck.

Extended Cabs-  Double, SuperCab, Quad, Club, Access, King

These trucks have a small rear seat.

Often have/had the rearward opening doors.

Now some have narrow regular style doors.

Crew Cabs- Mostly called Crew Cab, but CrewMax and SuperCrew (Double Cab on Tacoma)

These trucks have 4 big doors and

the rear doors are about the same size as the fronts or bigger.

Has good rear legroom! Most newer trucks are crew cabs.

Mega Cab- HUGE CAB! 4 door plus some

There is only one MEGA CAB! and that goes to RAM. Hello from back there

Cab-Hi

Most popular!

Starting @ $2500 installed

Mid-Rise

These units are about 5” taller and give you more cargo or sleeping volume!

Starting @ $2700 installed

Hi-Rise

Big in the rear look! Room to take almost everything!

Or LIVE!

Starting @ $2900 installed

Commercial

Available in fiberglass or aluminum. Lots of options!

Starting @ $3000 Installed

With the fiberglass caps we recommend headliners and removable front windows.

The headliner prevents you from finding a stray fiberglass strand and gives a nice finished look. It will also help it stay cooler and make it harder to see through the tinted windows.

A removable front window is important so you can clean the back of your truck cab and the front of the cap. You can’t fit a Swiffer in between the two.
